Since 2009, Zancana Community Center has been a pillar of support for Toronto’s diverse and vibrant community. As a registered non-profit organization, our mission is centered on welcoming newcomers, supporting families, and helping individuals grow spiritually and thrive in their new home. We are guided by a dedicated board of directors who prioritize both cultural heritage and the resources that enable our community members to flourish.

In collaboration with the Abu Ubaydah Islamic Center, we’re honored to offer an array of programs and services for all ages. From family counseling and youth programs to community and religious events, our center is a hub for connection, support, and shared growth. Our Story.

Founded in 2009, Zancana Community Center began as a vision to create a welcoming space for immigrants and families seeking support in Toronto. What started as a small initiative has grown into a thriving community-driven organization dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening families. Over the years, we have adapted to the evolving needs of our diverse community, ensuring that newcomers and long-time residents alike feel seen, supported, and connected. At the heart of Zancana is our commitment to preserving cultural heritage while embracing new beginnings.
